Last Sunday we had a visiting speaker and a friend of ours visit the church. This couple works as missionaries in China. I´ve heard some of the stats before, but it is always refreshing to hear about the amazing things God is doing around the world, and in this case China. Here´s just a few of the wonderful things we heard last Sunday:

- 30.000 people give their lives to the Lord daily. Yes you read it right. DAILY! That means that about 11 million chinese people give their lives to the Lord every year. The Kingdom of God is forcefully advancing around the world, although you and I might not see it in the city or country where we live. But it can happen in our cities and countries too, that´s the encouraging thing.

- If i got it right, there is about 1 million full time pastors/ministers in China. God has been speaking to the church in China, that their end time call is to bring the gospel from China all the way to Jerusalem. You have maybe heard about a movement called "Back to Jerusalem". This is it. And it´s not just talk. As I write, they are committed to sending a "tithe" of their pastors and ministers into the hinduist, buddist and muslim countries. The tithe adds up to 100.000 missionaries! And they say that if a hundred thousand will not be enough, they will send another one hundred thousand! God has an army on planet earth today!

The believers in china are radical. They are persecuted for their faith. Many have been in prison. But they continue preaching in the jails so that other prisoners give their lives to the Lord.

We in the west would need a bit more of what they have. 4th of July is coming up. May God give America another great move of His Spirit. If it happened and happens in China it can happen anywhere!
