Our congregation has been blessed by Pastor Petri’ leadership since September 2008. It was God who led him and his lovely family to Lake Worth, Florida. Pastor Petri’s family includes of wife Caroline Kosonen and their two children; Esther 3 years and Reuben 1 year of age. And what a blessed time it has been!

Pastor Petri is 34 years old.  He was born and raised in Borås, Sweden (of Finnish parents) where he has been a member and served in the Finnish Pentecostal Church since his childhood. In 2004 Pastor Petri was united in marriage with Caroline and among many blessings there was a special gift in this young couple’s life. It was a profound gift of worship. Together Pastor Petri and Caroline toured Finland, Sweden, other European countries, Africa and North America leading worship. In Finland and Sweden they also had the privilege to teach praise and worship in different congregations and churches. Pastor Petri has released several live worship albums in Finland and they have been widely spread and appreciated in the Body of Christ. These albums have had a great impact on individuals, churches and on the nation as a whole. Pastor Petri is very humbled and honored to be a part of something so wonderful.  He has been in the full time ministry as an itinerant worship leader since he was 20 years old. Today he has been in ministry for 14 years.

In 2006 the family of Kosonen moved to Thunder Bay, Canada where he served in Saalem Church as a Worship Pastor/Assistant Pastor for 2 years. While serving in Canada, God continued to strengthen his calling for Petri into pastoral leadership.

Today in 2009 as a Senior Pastor of Kotikirkko, Lake Worth Florida, Pastor Petri has a vision for us to be a church that loves God and loves People. This is his Passion. God has called him and all of us in Kotikirkko to learn what it is to love God and to reach out to people with that same love. As Pastor Petri teaches the Word he refers to The Bible- it is clear- Matt 22:37-39
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

For people around the world, near or far- different circumstances, different lives-
Pastor Petri’s heart is to see people saved, healed and set free by the power of God. He dreams about seeing a genuine move of God in the Palm Beaches and beyond. He also wants to see believers find their place in the Body of Christ and get activated in their gifts for ministry.
